Meet Janine Holder, Hospital Operations Manager

Janine brings more than 15 years of leadership and operations experience to Rippowam Animal Hospital, with a background centered on developing strong teams, improving operations, creating positive workplace cultures, and delivering exceptional client experiences. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about helping people grow, building sustainable systems, and creating environments where teams feel supported, accountable, and empowered to provide their best work.

Her transition into veterinary medicine brought together her leadership experience with something deeply personal: a passion for animal welfare and preventative pet care. Janine believes that some of the most meaningful work a veterinary team can do is help pet parents understand how proactive and preventative care can improve quality of life and, whenever possible, give families more healthy years with their furry friends. At Rippowam, she is passionate about supporting the doctors and hospital team, strengthening the client experience, and creating an environment where excellent medicine and compassionate care go hand in hand.

Outside of the hospital, Janine’s own furry family keeps her busy. Teddy, her Giant Schnauzer, and Cookie, her Mini Bernedoodle, hold an especially big place in her heart and are a constant reminder of why the work we do for pets and their families matters so much.

In her spare time, Janine loves hiking with Teddy and Cookie, gardening, and experimenting with creative ways to grow sustainable food. She particularly enjoys exploring vertical and indoor growing methods—proving that when she isn’t finding new ways to help a hospital grow, there’s a pretty good chance she’s finding something else to grow at home.
