* IMPORTANT NOTICE as of September 2020 *

Due to recent events, we would like to apologize for our phone lines
being extremely busy and hold times being longer than normal.
We also want you to be aware our appointment times are limited so
you may have to book at least 2 weeks in advance. We are trying to
accommodate all of our clients and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience. Your pet is very important to us so please be patient at this time.

We remain open, fully functional and as dedicated as always.

The following rules are in place and are to be strictly enforced:

Dedicated to Providing Optimum

           Health Care and Wellness for

                              All Pets Throughout

                                         Their Lives

  • * Click Here to Review Our COVID Guidelines *

When you arrive in our parking lot please call us at 203-329-8811 to let us know  that you are here for your appointment. Don’t just walk in – you will find the front door locked and will only be allowed in as follows...

    • We are not allowing more than 1 PERSON in our office at this time - YOU MUST BE WEARING GLOVES & A MASK! DO NOT COME IN AT ALL if you are not feeling well or have been in contact with anyone who is not feeling well or if you have been outside the country within the last 2 weeks or in so called hot zones like NYC in the past 2 weeks.

    • One of our staff members will come to the car and take your pet from you and you can speak to the veterinarian via phone, and when everything is completed your pet will be returned to you in your car - this is our MOST PREFERRED METHOD OF CARE.

    • If your pet is sick or being dropped off for a procedure and you feel you cannot convey enough information via a phone call then ONLY 1 PERSON is allowed to come into the building with your pet - the only exception will be in very dire circumstances like euthanasia, but please contact our front desk first so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

    • Please respect the 6 feet social distancing rule at all times.

    • We are trying to provide only essential services and procedures - this is deemed to be something that will impact patient’s health or quality of life in a negative manner and that cannot be postponed for a short term. We understand that not every case is the same and will try to accommodate you as much as possible in a way that is safe for us all.

Clearly as the situation evolves we may have to change or
make new regulations as we all navigate through this crisis together.

Please remember you are very important to us and the entire
Rippowam Animal Hospital team is here to help in any way we can.
